Back in April I shared with you the story of a little Princess. At that time she hadn't yet been given a name but I chose to call her Princess. Since then she was given a name, Romania. The Lord has done great things in her little life, specifically in her heart. Romania was born with a heart defect. It appeared that if Romania didn't have surgery soon she might quickly become non-operable due to complications that were expected to come about. Well, God proved us all wrong! Wahoo! I had begun to gradually decrease Romania's oxygen giving her a limited amount of time off O2 several times throughout the day. While I had left to return to the US for our HA she pretty quickly was weaned from oxygen all together! When seen by the Australian heart team in late July it was determined that she does need surgery that she is stable and they would like for her to grow a bit more first. She will see the Australian team again next summer and hopefully will be ready for surgery at that time. Thanks for your prayers on her behalf. Please continue to pray for her!
