The Christian Medical/Dental Association sponsors a medical conference every year that caters to US medical professionals working oversees. They alternate the location between Africa and Asia. This year the conference was held in Chiangmai, Thailand and the Myers4 got to attend! Words cannot possibly express how awesome this conference is! There are lots of reasons why we think it was great!! Here are just a few; it allowed Susan to get 50 hours of Continuing Medical Education credits, wonderful times of worship and fellowship with other missionaries from various sending organizations, fun times with our family and the others that attended from Nazarene Hospital, a great youth program for our kids, new friends for us all and personal spiritual enrichment and growth! There are not a lot of opportunities for this kind of setting whether we are here on the field or on Home Assignment. We are very thankful to God and to our colleagues and leaders who allowed and helped to make it possible!
