Christmas with our Chaplains

Christmas is about the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is also the time for parties and sharing with friends and family. As Director of Medical Services, part of Susan’s work is overseeing the Chaplain’s Ministries of Nazarene Hospital. Our Chaplains play a big part in the ministry of Nazarene Hospital and in the lives of our patients. Each patient admitted is seen by one of our four chaplains. We have two ladies, Regina and Lucy and two men, Moses and Taima. As DMS Susan has worked to find ways in which to encourage and provide times of spiritual growth for our chaplains, times of refreshing for them. So this past week we had our chaplains over to the house for a little Christmas party. They came and those who still have family in their homes brought them as well. It was a great time. We do feel a sense of family with our chaplains. They are wonderful people! We had a meal; some put a puzzle together (and for some it was the first time), shared gifts and shared some special thoughts together. God has blessed our family with these wonderful people, they are family.
